Triple Eccentric Structure and Working Principle

The triple eccentric structure refers to the placement of three key offsets in the valve's design

1.First Eccentricity:The valve stem is positioned slightly behind the centerline of the valve body. This reduces the direct friction between the disc and the seat during operation.

2.Second Eccentricity:The valve stem is offset from the centerline of the pipeline. This offset allows the disc to rotate independently, further reducing wear and friction on the sealing surfaces.

3.Third Eccentricity:The sealing surface of the disc is machined into a conical shape, creating an angle that eliminates contact between the sealing surfaces when the valve is open. The contact occurs only during the final stages of closure, ensuring a tight and reliable seal.

Working Principle:
When the valve is actuated, the triple eccentric design ensures the disc moves smoothly without scraping or dragging against the seat. The conical metal seat and disc interface only engage during closure, creating a uniform and reliable seal under high pressure and temperature conditions.
